The In-spired Living Movement

It’s time we found a new way forward...

Burnout is one of those words which seem to define the modern era. And while companies are quick to highlight its economic costs, behind the statistics are individuals who are struggling to cope, build healthy relationships and experience joy.

However, I don’t believe burnout is something to be eradicated. I believe it’s something to be listened to. It’s the voice of truth inside that’s whispering the way we’re working isn’t working.

I created the In-spired Living Movement for a few reasons. Firstly, I want to build an international community for people who want to take the time to listen to this voice, reflect and define a new way forward (and not simply learn how to build resilience and other coping strategies).

I also want to create a place where people can feel supported while navigating conscious and intentional change, which I know takes courage. However, this is where lasting recovery from burnout takes place and true fulfillment starts.

Lastly, I would like to share my experience, knowledge and passion to help people build lives which sing to their soul, so that who they are on the inside matches how they show up in the world. When we start living authentically, we give permission to others to do the same.

If you want to go fast, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together.

AFRICAN PROVERB

What I know to be true…

  • Recovering from burnout is always about recovering lost authenticity. It’s about unearthing lost feelings and needs and piecing back an identity which corresponds to who we were before society told us who we had to be.

  • When we prioritise living in harmony with our true selves, do things we care about, feel connected with ourselves and others, have meaning and purpose in our lives, we tap into an unlimited source of energy outside of ourselves and simply can’t burn out.

  • Everything you want is on the other side of fear. Fear can be overcome.

  • The journey will not be easy every day. However, if you commit to living authentically, you will one day feel as though you’ve returned home to a place you forgot existed.

When you are transformed the world will be transformed,
for you are the world and the world is you.

Principles of In-spired Living

  • Authenticity. Be 100% unapologetically you. Know you are enough just as you are.

  • Gratitude. Practicing gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. Gratitude cultivates a positive mindset, enhances contentment, and opens our hearts to joy.

  • Live in the present moment. Presence allows us to detach from the mind’s chatter and opens us to joy and the richness of life.

  • Enriching work. We have the right to have work which enriches and enlivens us, rather than diminishes us.

  • Connection. When we are connected with others, as well as the mystery of life, we simply feel better.

  • Compassion. We were placed on this Earth to expand compassion for ourselves, others, and future generations.

Love yourself. Honour yourself.
Do it every day. Your kids will thank you.

SUZANNE SALTER

WORDS OF PRAISE

Suzanne’s strength is her knowledge of the Enneagram. She has obviously walked the walk. Every time we met, she had this uncanny ability to carefully push me out of my comfort zone in a way she knew would help me. I am a much happier person now with an awareness of accepting myself (and others) with a sense of peace.

CHELSEA H

The typing and the shadow really struck home with me. It explained so much. I almost immediately recognised my pattern of mistakes. Suzanne gave me new tools to overcome my innate challenges.

CHRISTINA M

I have a much deeper understanding of the things that have blocked me creatively and how I’ve got in my own way so often!

ANDREAS N

I feel like this self-awareness is unlocking new hidden powers and helping me reach my full potential. I am already making courageous changes and I am only at the beginning of my journey!
